About the Incorporated Society of Estate Agents

The Society's objects are:

The objects of the Society as defined in its Memorandum of Association include requirements that shall:

impose and supervise the observance of a code of conduct which shall be adhered to by all members of the Society

promote by examination of approved qualifications, the achievement of high standards of professional competence by its members, to organise educational courses for aspirant members of the Society.

further the collective interests of members without showing disfavour to any recognised professional bodies or their members

ensure that the public and members are protected against restrictive practices, fraud, misrepresentation or malpractice.

CONFIDENCE
The home buying and selling public can have confidence in ISEA members because:

 Membership is only offered to applicants whose personal integrity and professional competence is established beyond doubt.

CREDIBILITY

High professional standards are required by the Rules of Conduct. ISEA membership also enhances credibility within one's firm.

REPRESENTATION

The Society ensures that the interests of estate agents are vigorously represented in Government, the media and elsewhere.
